Konstru Join Update

Posted on 9 October 2017 by Thornton Tomasetti

Thank you all for visiting our exciting webinar on how to join elements and even more for your feedback. And some of it is now ready to use and being deployed today!

You asked for walls being joined across levels so we just implemented it. Please note this approach no longer uses Pier labels (!) we are now following the same approach as with floors. Please put the walls you want to join into KonstruJoin groups and walls will no longer be split at levels.

Join Frames by Groups

Konstru join now supports joining beams and columns as well. Merge segmented beams into single elements by putting them into one group named at the start with “KonstruJoin” eg. “KonstruJoin A” and Konstru will join frames into one.

KONSTRU’s user - friendly data environment makes 3D BIM collaboration a breeze. Our web-based platform translates data between building design and analysis applications so models can be synchronized without needing to be reworked. Designers no longer have to waste valuable hours reentering models into their preferred software, so KONSTRU can save time and money – and eliminate the risk of entry errors.
